Ingredients:

  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger

For the Beef and Noodles:

  • 8 oz (about 225g) flank steak, thinly sliced
  • 8 oz (about 225g) ramen or udon noodles
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil, divided
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)
  • Sesame seeds (for garnish)
  • Optional: Red pepper flakes for heat

Cooking Steps:

Step 1: Prepare Teriyaki Sauce

  1. In a small saucepan, combine soy sauce, mirin, sake (or white wine), brown sugar, grated ginger, and minced garlic.
  2. Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat, stirring to dissolve the sugar.
