Crispy Banana Chips:

Ingredients:

  • 4 ripe bananas, thinly sliced
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • Salt to taste

Preparation:

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan over medium heat.
  2. Carefully add banana slices to the hot oil, ensuring they are not crowded.
  3. Fry until golden brown and crispy, then remove with a slotted spoon.
  4. Place the crispy banana chips on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
  5. Sprinkle with salt while still warm. Allow them to cool before serving.

Fried Rice:

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups cooked rice (preferably day-old)
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn)
  • 1 cup cooked and shredded chicken or tofu (optional)
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Preparation:

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Add chopped onions and minced garlic, sauté until fragrant.
  3. Push the onions and garlic to the side, pour beaten eggs into the pan, and scramble.
  4. Add mixed vegetables and shredded chicken or tofu. Stir-fry until vegetables are tender.
  5. Add cooked rice, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Mix well until everything is evenly coated and heated through.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
