Ingredients:
For the Crust:
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, chilled and cubed
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2-3 tablespoons cold water
For the Filling:
- 1 cup apricot jam (homemade or store-bought)
For Glaze (Optional):
- Apricot preserves or honey for brushing (warmed)
Steps:
For the Crust:
- In a food processor, combine flour, chilled butter, and sugar. Pulse until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Gradually add cold water, one tablespoon at a time, pulsing until the dough comes together.
- Gather the dough into a ball, wrap it in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
For the Tart:
