Chicken Dilkhush Kebab

Ingredients:

  • 500g boneless chicken, minced
  • 1 large onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons ginger-garlic paste
  • 1/4 cup fresh coriander leaves, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons gram flour (besan)
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tablespoons cooking oil
  • Skewers for grilling

Cooking Steps:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine minced chicken, chopped onion, ginger-garlic paste, chopped coriander leaves, chopped mint leaves, and yogurt.
  2. Add gram flour (besan) to the mixture for binding.
  3. Season with garam masala, cumin powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix the ingredients thoroughly.
  4. Drizzle cooking oil over the mixture and knead it well to form a smooth and cohesive mixture.
  5. Cover the bowl and let the chicken mixture marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
  6. Preheat your grill or oven to medium-high heat.
  7. Take small portions of the marinated chicken mixture and shape them onto skewers to form kebabs.
  8. Grill the Chicken Dilkhush Kebabs for approximately 15-20 minutes, turning them occasionally, until they are cooked through and golden brown.
  9. Serve the kebabs hot with mint chutney or your favorite dip.
