Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko or regular)
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Cooking oil for frying

Steps:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
  3. Set up a breading station: Place flour in one shallow dish, whisk the eggs in another, and combine breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and paprika in a third dish.
  4. Dredge each chicken breast in the flour, shaking off excess.
  5. Dip the floured chicken in the beaten eggs, ensuring it's well coated.
  6. Press the chicken into the breadcrumb mixture, making sure it's evenly coated with the crispy mixture.
  7. In a large skillet, heat cooking oil over medium-high heat.
  8. Once the oil is hot, add the breaded chicken breasts. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown and crispy.
  9. Transfer the partially cooked chicken breasts to a baking sheet and finish baking in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the chicken is cooked through.
  10. Remove from the oven and let the Crispy Chicken Supreme rest for a few minutes before serving.
  11. Optionally, garnish with fresh herbs or a squeeze of lemon before serving.
