Ingredients:
- 2 slices of your favorite bread (whole grain, sourdough, or multigrain)
- 1 ripe avocado
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Optional toppings: poached egg, cherry tomatoes, feta cheese, red pepper flakes, or fresh herbs
Steps:
Step 1: Toast the slices of bread to your desired level of crispiness.
Step 2: While the bread is toasting, cut the ripe avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a bowl.
Step 3: Mash the avocado with a fork until smooth but still slightly chunky.
