Delicious Chilli Mushroom

Ingredients:

  1. Mushrooms (250g, cleaned and sliced)
  2. Bell peppers (2, sliced)
  3. Onion (1 large, sliced)
  4. Garlic (4 cloves, minced)
  5. Ginger (1-inch piece, grated)
  6. Green chilies (2-3, finely chopped)
  7. Soy sauce (2 tablespoons)
  8. Tomato ketchup (2 tablespoons)
  9. Red chili sauce (1 tablespoon)
  10. Green chili sauce (1 tablespoon)
  11. Cornstarch (2 tablespoons, mixed with water to form a slurry)
  12. Spring onions (for garnish)
  13. Salt (to taste)
  14. Black pepper (to taste)
  15. Oil (2-3 tablespoons)

Preparation Steps:

  1. Heat oil in a wok or pan. Add minced garlic, grated ginger, and chopped green chilies. Sauté until fragrant.
  2. Add sliced onions and cook until they become translucent.
  3. Toss in sliced mushrooms and bell peppers. Stir-fry until the vegetables are slightly tender.
  4. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, tomato ketchup, red chili sauce, and green chili sauce.
  5. Pour the sauce mixture over the vegetables. Stir well to coat.
  6. Season with salt and black pepper according to taste.
  7. Add the cornstarch slurry to thicken the sauce. Stir continuously to avoid lumps.
  8. Once the sauce thickens and coats the mushrooms and vegetables, remove from heat.
  9. Garnish with chopped spring onions.

Serve Chilli Mushroom hot as an appetizer or pair it with steamed rice or noodles for a delightful main course.
