Miniature Besan Ladoo

Ingredients:
- 1 cup besan (gram flour)
- 1/2 cup ghee (clarified butter)
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder
- Chopped nuts for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
- In a non-stick pan, heat ghee over medium-low heat.
- Add besan to the pan and roast it on low to medium heat, stirring continuously to avoid burning. Roast until it turns golden brown and emits a nutty aroma. This might take about 10-15 minutes.
- Once the besan is roasted, remove it from heat and let it cool slightly.
- Gradually add powdered sugar to the roasted besan and mix well.
- Add cardamom powder to the mixture for additional flavor. You can also add chopped nuts at this stage if desired.
- Allow the mixture to cool further until it's comfortable to touch.
- Take small portions of the mixture and shape them into tiny ladoos or balls. Press firmly to ensure they hold their shape.
- If the mixture is too dry to form ladoos, you can add a bit more melted ghee to bind it.
- Garnish the miniature besan ladoos with chopped nuts if you haven't added them earlier.
- Let the ladoos cool completely before serving.
- Store in an airtight container at room temperature.
