  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 2 1/4 cups whole milk
  • 2 large egg yolks, beaten
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Cooking Steps:

Step 1: In a medium-sized saucepan, whisk together sugar, cocoa powder, cornstarch, and salt.

Step 2: Gradually whisk in the milk, ensuring there are no lumps.

Step 3: Place the saucepan over medium heat, stirring continuously until the mixture thickens and comes to a gentle boil.
