Ingredients

  1. 1 cup jasmine rice (or your preferred rice variety)
  2. 2 cups water (for cooking rice)
  3. 2 salmon fillets
  4. Salt and pepper to taste
  5. 2 tablespoons olive oil
  6. 2 cloves garlic, minced
  7. 1 lemon, sliced
  8. Fresh herbs (such as dill or parsley) for garnish

Steps

Step 1: Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear. Cook the rice according to the package instructions.

Step 2: Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper.

Step 3: In a pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.

Step 4: Place the seasoned salmon fillets in the pan, skin side down. Cook for 3-4 minutes per side or until the salmon is cooked through and easily flakes with a fork.
