Moist Chocolate Cupcake & Yummy Chocolate Ganache

Ingredients:

For Chocolate Cupcakes:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk

For Chocolate Ganache:

  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Cooking Steps:

Chocolate Cupcakes: Step 1: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.

Step 2: In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

Step 3: In a separate large bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.

Step 4: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with buttermilk, beginning and ending with the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined.

Step 5: Divide the batter evenly among the cupcake liners. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Chocolate Ganache: Step 6: In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream over medium heat until it just begins to simmer. Remove from heat.

Step 7: Pour the hot cream over the chocolate chips in a bowl. Let it sit for a minute, then stir until smooth and glossy.

Step 8: Allow the ganache to cool slightly before spooning it over the cooled cupcakes.

Step 9: Let the ganache set for a few minutes before serving.
