Mexican Shrimp Cocktail


• 1 pound shrimp cooked, peeled, and deveined
• 2 roma tomatoes diced
• 1 English cucumber chopped into 1/4" size cubes
• 1/2 cup celery chopped
• 1/4 cup diced red onion
• 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
• 1 large avocado diced when ready to serve
• 1/2-1 jalapeno finely diced
• 2 cloves garlic finely minced
• 2 cups tomato juice
• 1/2 cup ketchup
• 1/4 cup lime juice about 2 limes worth
• 2 tablespoons hot sauce give or take to your liking
• 1 tablespoon prepared horseradish
• 1 teaspoon black pepper
• 1 teaspoon salt


  1. Cook shrimp if needed and place in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Chop tomatoes, cucumber, celery, onion, cilantro and jalapeño. Add into the bowl with the shrimp, Add in finely minced garlic.
  3. In a separate mixing bowl, make the juice by adding in tomato juice, ketchup, lime juice, hot sauce, prepared horseradish, pepper and salt. Stir until well combined.
  4. Pour the sauce mixture over the shrimp and vegetables. Ladle into a fancy cup and enjoy!
