Hazelnut cream cookies

INGREDIENTS

  • 190g (2/3 cup) hazelnut cream
  • 150g (1 1/4 cups) flour
  • 1 egg
  • hazelnut cream (for decoration)
  • hazelnut grain (for decoration)

METHOD

  1. In a bowl mix hazelnut cream with an egg until smooth.
  2. Add flour and start to mix the mixture with a spatula or whisk, then continue to knead with your hands until you receive an elastic dough.
  3. Form small balls from the obtained dough.
  4. Arrange balls on the baking tray lined with parchment paper.
  5. Press the top of each ball with your finger to obtain a small hole in the middle of the cookie.
  6. Bake in the preheated to 180C/360F oven for 10 minutes.
  7. Let the cookies cool a bit, then fill each hole with some more hazelnut cream and decorate with hazelnut grain.
