Pink pancakes


  • 400g (2 cups) strawberry
  • 250ml (1 cup) water 200g (1 cup) sugar 2 egg yolks 3 egg whites 20g milk (4 tsp) 40g flour (5 tbsp) 1 tsp vanilla extract 25g sugar 2 tbsp strawberry syrup 1 tsp lemon juice


  1. Simmer strawberry with water for 15 minutes on low heat, strain it. Simmer with sugar for another 10 minutes.
  2. Mix egg yolks with milk and vanilla extract, add in flour, prepared syrup, and red coloring.
  3. Beat egg whites with lemon juice and sugar, and mix in the flour mixture.
  4. Fry pancakes for 3 minutes from both sides on low heat.
  5. Serve with powdered sugar, strawberries, and prepared strawberry syrup.
