For Bandel Cheese Sabji

  • 1 tbsp Ghee,
  • 1 tbsp Oil,
  • ½ tsp Cumin seeds,
  • Prepared Ginger Garlic Paste,
  • 2 large Onions, finely chopped,
  • 1 tbsp Coriander powder,
  • ½ tbsp Degi red chili powder,
  • ¼ tsp Turmeric powder,
  • 1 cup fresh Tomato puree,
  • ¼ cup Water,
  • Sauteed Vegetables,
  • Little Water,
  • 6-7 French beans, roughly chopped,
  • Salt to taste,
  • 2 processed Cheese square, cut into small cube,
  • ⅓ cup Water,
  • 5-6 Smoked bandel cheese, cut into quarter,
  • 1 tbsp Coriander leaves, chopped

For Sauteing Vegetables

  • 1 ½ tbsp Ghee,
  • 2 medium size Carrot, peeled, dice,
  • ½ cup Mushroom, cut into half,
  • ¼ cup fresh Green peas

For Ginger Garlic Paste

  • 1 inch Ginger, peeled, slice,
  • 2 Green chillies, cut into half,
  • Salt to taste,
  • 4-5 Garlic cloves

For Garnish

  • Pizza cheese blend
  • Coriander sprig


For Ginger Garlic Green Chili Paste

In a mortar pestle add ginger, green chili, salt to taste and garlic.

Crush it into a coarse paste and keep it aside for further use.

For Sauteing vegetables

  1. In a saucepan add ghee. Once it gets hot add carrot, mushroom. Saute it for 1-2 minutes.
  2. Now, add green peas. Mix everything well and keep aside for further use.

For Bandel Cheese Sabji

  1. In a saucepan add the oil. Once it gets hot add cumin, prepared ginger garlic paste and saute it for 5-10 seconds.
  2. Now, add onion and saute until onion are translucent.
  3. Now, add coriander powder, degi red chili powder, turmeric powder and saute well.
  4. Now, add tomato puree and cook it for 40-50 seconds. Add water and cook it for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Now, add sauteed vegetables, water, french beans and salt to taste.
  6. Now, add processed cheese cubes, water and smoked bandel cheese.
  7. Transfer into a serving dish garnish it with coriander sprig and serve hot with roti or rice.
