Preserve garlic with vinegar and lemon
How to cook Preserve garlic with vinegar and lemon:
- 2kg garlic
- 300 ml apple vinegar
- 1 ½ tbsp coarse salt
- 1 tsp salt
- 4 thin lemon slices
- 2 bay leaves
- 2 glass jars
- Cut the stem of each garlic and remove most of the skin from each head.
- Place several heads in a bowl, cover with water, stir for several minutes and remove the drained garlic.
- Fill the glass jar with the garlic. Add a bay leaf to each glass jar and 2 lemon slices to each jar. Mix coarse salt, lemon salt, and vinegar until the salt dissolves.
- Pour into each glass jar, fill with water, and cover tightly.
