INGREDIENTS

  • 150ml (3/4 cup) of tomato sauce
  • Dried oregano
  • Salt
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Bread slices
  • 150g of cooked ham
  • 150g of cheese
  • 150g of provola cheese
  • 1 roll of puff pastry
  • Sesame seeds

METHOD

  1. In a small bowl add the tomato sauce, dried oregano, salt, extra virgin olive oil, and mix.
  2. Arrange the bread slices on the pan covered with parchment paper and cover with prepared tomato sauce. Arrange the ham, then cheese cubes and provola cheese on slices.
  3. Cover with puff pastry and seal well on all sides. Prick the puff pastry with the fork.
  4. Brush with olive oil and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake in the oven at 200°C/392°F for 35 minutes.
