Candied strawberries in syrup
INGREDIENTS
- 2kg strawberries
- 1kg sugar
- 4 glass jars
- Yogurt
METHOD
- Place all the strawberries in a bowl, fill with water and rinse the strawberries. Let stand for 6 minutes.
- Remove the stem of each strawberry, cut each strawberry in half and place it in a bowl, place sugar in the middle, fill with more cut strawberries and add sugar again.
- Let macerate for 3 hours and stir from time to time. Fill 4 glass jars with strawberries.
- Close the jars and left upside down for at least 1 week (you can rest for also a year).
- Serve with yogurt.
