Candied strawberries in syrup


  • 2kg strawberries
  • 1kg sugar
  • 4 glass jars
  • Yogurt


  1. Place all the strawberries in a bowl, fill with water and rinse the strawberries. Let stand for 6 minutes.
  2. Remove the stem of each strawberry, cut each strawberry in half and place it in a bowl, place sugar in the middle, fill with more cut strawberries and add sugar again.
  3. Let macerate for 3 hours and stir from time to time. Fill 4 glass jars with strawberries.
  4. Close the jars and left upside down for at least 1 week (you can rest for also a year).
  5. Serve with yogurt.
