Vegan Salted Egg Tofu

Ingredients:

  • 400g firm tofu (thawed and pressed after freezing)
  • salt and pepper

air fry at 190°C for 15 minutes, flip halfway through

"Salted Egg" Sauce

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • annatto seeds
  • 1/4 cup slivered almonds
  • 1/4 cup nutritional yeast
  • 1/8 tsp black salt
  • 1/4 tsp mushroom powder
  • 1/2 cup almond milk ( adjust to your preference if you want to have a thicker or thinner sauce)
  • chili flakes
  • spring onion
