Frittata toast
INGREDIENTS
- 12 slices of toast bread
- 40g (1/4 cup) melted butter
- 8 eggs
- 230ml (1 cup) milk
- 50g (1/3 cup) parmesan
- 6 slices of cooked ham
- 6 slices cheese
- 150g mozzarella
- 4g (1 tbsp) parsley, chopped
- salt to taste
METHOD
- Brush bread slices with melted butter on both sides. Arrange them on a baking tray and grill for 4-5 minutes on each side.
- In a bowl whisk eggs with salt, add parsley, parmesan, and mink, and whisk until smooth.
- Arrange 6 toasts on the bottom of the baking pan and top each with a slice of cheese. Pour half of the egg mixture over the toast.
- Top each toast with baked ham and mozzarella slices and pour with the remaining eggs.
- Close toasts with bread slices, press a bit, and flip the toasts.
- Bake at 200°C/400°F for 20 minutes, then grill additionally for 10 minutes.
