Frittata toast

INGREDIENTS

  • 12 slices of toast bread
  • 40g (1/4 cup) melted butter
  • 8 eggs
  • 230ml (1 cup) milk
  • 50g (1/3 cup) parmesan
  • 6 slices of cooked ham
  • 6 slices cheese
  • 150g mozzarella
  • 4g (1 tbsp) parsley, chopped
  • salt to taste

METHOD

  1. Brush bread slices with melted butter on both sides. Arrange them on a baking tray and grill for 4-5 minutes on each side.
  2. In a bowl whisk eggs with salt, add parsley, parmesan, and mink, and whisk until smooth.
  3. Arrange 6 toasts on the bottom of the baking pan and top each with a slice of cheese. Pour half of the egg mixture over the toast.
  4. Top each toast with baked ham and mozzarella slices and pour with the remaining eggs.
  5. Close toasts with bread slices, press a bit, and flip the toasts.
  6. Bake at 200°C/400°F for 20 minutes, then grill additionally for 10 minutes.
