Cheese fritters
INGREDIENTS
100ml (1/3 cup + 2 tbsp) whole milk 1 large egg, room temperature 1 tsp salt 125g (1 Β½ cup) grated cheese 100g crumbled feta cheese Β½ bunch chopped parsley 1 tsp baking soda 250g (2 cups) all-purpose flour
METHOD
- In a large mixing bowl place the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Stir in the chopped parsley, feta cheese, grated cheese, egg, and whole milk.
- Mix until a soft dough is formed.
- Transfer the dough between two pieces of parchment paper and roll it out for about ΒΌ inch thickness. Cut rectangular shapes and fry them in hot oil for about 2-3 minutes on each side.
- Serve while still warm and enjoy.
