Rich Chocolate Cake

Ingredients

  • 7in(18cm)×3in(8cm)loaf pan
  • 200g Dark chocolate(cocoa 65%)
  • 20g Light brown sugar
  • 50g Heavy Whipping cream(35%fat),warmed
  • 2 Eggs(110g)*room temperature
  • 10g Flour

Directions

Preparation:

Line the cake pan with parchment paper.
Preheat the oven to 338 °F/170℃.
①Put the chocolate in a bowl and melt chocolate in a double boiler.
*Be careful not to let the hot water get into the bowl.
②Slowly stir in the chocolate.
When smooth, add the sugar and mix.
③Add the cream and mix.
④Add Eggs, one at a time, mix well after each addition.
⑤Sift in Plain Flour and combine.
⑥Pour the mixture into the loaf tin.
⑦Bake at 338 °F/170℃ for 16min.
Stand the cake in the tin for 15 minutes as it is soft, and wire rack to cool.
