Meat skewers in puff pastry

INGREDIENTS

  • 400g puff pastry
  • 450g minced meat
  • 10g salt
  • 5g black pepper
  • 100g onion
  • 1 egg
  • 250g pressed cheese
  • 1 beaten egg

METHOD

  1. Cut the pastry dough sheet into strips.
  2. Combine the minced meat with salt in a bowl and add black pepper, chopped onion, and 1 egg to it.
  3. Cut the pressed cheese into rectangles. Insert a stick through the rectangle of cheese, then roll the meat around it. Then roll the pastry strips around the meat and using a brush apply a beaten egg.
  4. Cook in the oven at 180°C/356°F for 30 minutes.
