Spicy Popcorn Chicken

The meat turns out tender and juicy, with a delicious crispy crust and amazing aroma of spices. Garlic powder and a mixture of peppers give chicken a piquant spiciness, making it especially tasty. In the first place it is the perfect compliment to cold beer. Also this dish can be served as a main one with a garnish of fresh or baked vegetables. Necessarily add popcorn sauce, ketchup or mild mustard.


Ingredients

  • Chicken fillet
    350 g
  • Flour
    150 g
  • Natural yoghurt
    250 ml
  • Sunflower oil
    200 ml
  • Salt
    - to taste
  • Seasoning for chicken
    0,5 tsp
  • Ground black pepper
    0,5 tsp
  • Dry garlic
    0,25 tsp
  • Parsley
    - to taste



Steps

  • 1. For this recipe it is better to use fresh not frozen meat, this way the dish will be more juicy and tasty. Wash chicken under running water. Dry the excess moisture off with paper towels. Strip the fillets from the film and cut them into small pieces for them to be cooked through fully.
  • 2. Put meat in a deep bowl. Add salt to taste, season with dry garlic, spicy mix for chicken and ground pepper. Mix for all the pieces of chicken to be covered with spices. Leave the meat for 30 minutes giving it time to soak up the flavors of the spices.
  • 3. Add salt, dried garlic and a little bit of mixed spices in the sifted flour. Bread chicken in the mixture of chicken, for all pieces to be covered with it fully.
  • 4. For usability, put the yogurt in a wide bowl. Dip chicken in low fat natural yoghurt.
  • 5. Then again bread each piece in flour. Put blanks of popcorn chicken on a grill and leave for 15 minutes to dry slightly. Thanks to this simple method the crust on the meat will be more crispy.
  • 6. Pour refined oil in a bucket or a deep pan. Lets warm it to a temperature of 170 degrees. Carefully lower the pieces of chicken and will fry them in deep fat until Golden color.
  • 7. Then with a slotted spoon get the ready popcorn chicken from the pan and place on a dish with paper towels to get rid of excess oil.
  • 8. Comlement the finished dish with tomato sauce or ketchup. Additionally a light salad or fresh vegetables can be surved.
