Easy Chicken Alfredo
Easy Chicken Alfredo is a simple and delicious pasta dish that combines tender chicken with a creamy and flavorful Alfredo sauce.
Ingredients:
- 8 ounces fettuccine or any pasta of your choice
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced into thin strips
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
- Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Season the chicken strips with salt and pepper, then add them to the skillet. Cook until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes. Remove the cooked chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add the minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant and lightly golden.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a simmer. Cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add the grated Parmesan cheese and butter to the skillet. Stir continuously until the cheese has melted and the sauce is smooth and creamy.
- Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and toss it with the Alfredo sauce until well coated. Cook for an additional minute to heat the chicken through.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss it with the sauce and chicken until everything is well combined and coated in the sauce.
- Remove the skillet from the heat and let it sit for a minute to allow the sauce to thicken slightly.
- Serve the Easy Chicken Alfredo hot, garnished with fresh chopped parsley.
Enjoy this creamy and flavorful dish as a satisfying main course. You can also serve it with a side of steamed vegetables or a fresh salad.
