Welcome to the ultimate buttered mashed potatoes recipe. Today we're going to show you how to make the perfect side dish for any meal.

-Russet potatoes

-Knorr's chicken flavoring

-Butter

-Milk or Heavy cream

-All purpose seasoning (The USUAL seasoning is sold @ WALMART)

-Black pepper

-Onion powder

-Garlic powder

-Buttermilk ranch dressing

-Fresh Parsley or chives (dried Parsley will work as well)

  1. First, we're going to start by scrubbing and peeling our potatoes. We recommend using russet potatoes for their high starch content.
  2. After peeling, cut your potatoes into evenly sized chunks, set aside. Add, the Knorr's Chicken flavoring to a pot of boiling water, then add your potatoes to the pot. Cook until they're fork-tender, this should take around 15 minutes.
  3. Remove the potatoes and place them to a bowl. Next, add a generous amount of seasonings listed above, add butter, Buttermilk ranch dressing and a splash of milk or heavy cream.
  4. Now, it's time to start mashing your potatoes. Use a potato masher or a hand mixer to get a smooth and creamy consistency.
  5. If you like your mashed potatoes chunky, stop mashing when you reach your desired consistency. But if you like them smooth, keep mashing until you have a silky texture.
  6. Finally, add a pinch of salt and pepper to taste, garnish with some fresh herbs, like parsley or chives.
  7. And there you have it! The ultimate buttered mashed potatoes. Perfect as a side dish for any meal. Thanks for watching Ray Mack's Kitchen and Grill and don't forget to subscribe for more amazing recipes.
