Ingredients
For the meat mixture:
- 1 lb (450g) ground beef/lamb or combination of the two
- 1 Eggplant
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- 1-2 teaspoons Cumin
- 1 teaspoon Paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon Cinnamon (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric
- 1 teaspoon Sumac
- 1 tablespoon Parsley, chopped
- 1Chopped onion, fried until golden
For the tahini:
- 1/2 cup (125g) Raw tahini
- 1/2 cup (120ml) Water
- 2 tablespoons Lemon juice
For garnish:
- Parsley, chopped
- Pine nuts
