Bicolor Steamed Cake
Bicolor steamed cake: how to make it nice and soft!
INGREDIENTS
- 2 eggs
- 300g (1 1/2 cups) of sugar
- 550ml (2 1/5 cups) of milk
- 4g of dry yeast
- 500g (4 cups) of flour
- 200g of melted butter
- 100g of cheese
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
METHOD
1. In a bowl mix together eggs with sugar and milk, and add in yeast, flour, and butter. Let it rest for 20 minutes.
2. Divide into two parts, and take 2 tbsp of the mixture. Add cocoa powder and 2 tbsp of water to the first and shredded cheese to the second part.
3. Transfer 1/2 of the cocoa mixture to the baking pan (22cm), top with the white part of the mixture, and add the rest of the cocoa mixture.
4. Make the pattern on top and steam for 30 minutes.
