Creamy Baked Cheesecake
Cheesecake is a classic dessert loved by many. Here is a recipe for making a creamy baked cheesecake that is sure to please:
Ingredients: For the crust:
- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
For the filling:
- 24 ounces cream cheese, at room temperature
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4 large eggs
- 1/2 cup sour cream
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Stir until the mixture is well combined.
- Press the crumb mixture into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch springform pan.
- Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 10 minutes. Remove it from the oven and let it cool while you prepare the filling.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until it is smooth and creamy.
- Add the sugar and vanilla extract to the bowl and beat until they are well combined.
- Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Mix in the sour cream until it is fully incorporated.
- Pour the cheesecake filling into the cooled crust.
- Bake the cheesecake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes, or until the edges are set and the center is slightly jiggly.
- Remove the cheesecake from the oven and let it cool to room temperature.
- Chill the cheesecake in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
