  • Carrot
    200 g
  • Whole wheat flour
    350 g
  • Egg
    1 pcs
  • Butter
    120 g
  • Brown sugar
    100 g
  • Vanilla sugar
    20 g
  • Baking powder
    1 tsp

  • 1. First put the specified portion of butter on the table so that it becomes extremely soft by the beginning of work – let’s do it about an hour before cooking. Measure the required quantity of all products and start. Mix brown and vanilla sugar in one bowl.
  • 2. Put soft butter to mixed sugar.
  • 3. Break one egg into this substance. Turn on the mixer and whip the ingredients into a homogeneous mass.
  • 4. Grate carrots on the smallest grater and slightly squeeze it.
  • 5. Add the grated carrot to the sweet butter mass. Let's mix with a spoon.
  • 6. Add to carrot mass sieved flour and baking powder. Next kneading can be made with hands. Very elastic, soft and slightly orange dough should be obtained.
  • 7. Let’s begin to form cookies preparations. You can give them absolutely any form - as you wish. I rolled balls with a diameter of about 4 cm.
  • 8. Each preparation, let’s put on the baking sheet and press slightly with a fork cross on the cross. It is the best to put baking paper on the bottom of the baking sheet in advance - it is both convenient and prudent.
  • 9. It is better to pre-heat the oven in advance, so at the initial stage of the cooking you can immediately turn on the oven. And already in the hot oven put the baking sheet with carrot cookie preparations. The ideal baking time varies from 15 to 20 minutes with a temperature of 180 degrees.
  • 10. Finished carrot cookies go best with a mug of fresh milk or a cup of nosey tea.
