Prawns Drumstick Curry

Ingredients
300 grams prawns
2 to 3 drumsticks
2 medium onions
2 green chilies
2 medium tomatoes
1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
Salt as required
½ tsp turmeric powder
1 ½ to 2 tbsp red chili powder
1 tsp coriander powder
½ tsp garam masala
5 to 6 tbsp oil
1 sprig curry leaves
2 sprigs mint leaves
¼ cup coriander leaves
1 or 250 ml cup water

Instructions

  1. Devein the prawns and rinse thoroughly.
  2. Heat oil in a pan, add chopped onions, green chilies, drumsticks, and salt.
  3. Mix well and sauté until the onions become soft or until the drumsticks turn into olive green color.
  4. Put ginger garlic paste, curry leaves and sauté until the raw flavor disappears.
  5. Add tomatoes and cook until they turn mushy.
  6. Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, mix well.
  7. Later, add prawns, mint leaves and mix well.cover and cook for 5 minutes.
  8. Pour water, mix well, cover and cook for 10 minutes.
  9. Add garam masala and cook for 2 minutes.
  10. Add chopped coriander leaves and turn off the flame.
