Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder

- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 375°F. Grease or line a muffin tin with paper liners.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the melted butter, eggs, milk, and vanilla extract.
- Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Gently fold in the chopped apples.
- In a small bowl, mix together the sugar, flour, butter, and cinnamon for the topping until crumbly.
- Divide the muffin batter evenly among the prepared muffin cups. Sprinkle the topping over the muffins.
