- Ginger - 3 inch
- Garlic cloves - 12
- Green chilli -3
- Roasted cumin powder - 1 to 1.5 tsp
- Turmeric powder -1/2 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Water - 6 cups
For dough:
- Wheat flour - 2 cups
- Salt -1/2 tsp
- Water
For curry :
- Leftover dal water or stock
- Cooing oil - 2 tbsp
- Bay leaves - 1
- Cumin seeds -1/2 tsp
- Garlic - 1 tsp
- Onion -1/4 cup
- Tomato -1/2 cup
- Turmeric powder - 1/3 tsp
- Red chilli powder -1/2 tsp
- Coriander powder -1/2 tsp
- Cumin powder -1/2 tsp
- Garam masala -1/2 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Coriander leaves
