Funny tartlets in the form of mice will decorate The New Year table and cheer up your guests. Not only kids but also adults will definitely like such snack. For this recipe will suit tartlets made of waffle, puff and shortcrust pastry. As a filling we will use tasty and nourishing salad from boiled chicken fillet, processed cheese and garlic. The recipe is quiet easy and fast, which is very important during preparation of the New Year table.

Ingredients

  • Chicken fillet
    200 g
  • Processed cheese
    100 g
  • Egg
    2 pcs
  • Cucumber
    1 pcs
  • Garlic
    1-2 clove
  • Tartlets
    12 pcs
  • Mayonnaise
    2-3 tbsp
  • Clove buds
    12 pcs
  • Allspice
    24 pcs
  • Salt
    - to taste
  • Black pepper
    - to taste



Steps

  • 1. Cut boiled chicken fillet into small cubes and shift into a deep salad bowl.
  • 2. Grate processed cheese on a large grater and add to the meat.
  • 3. Boil hard chicken eggs, cool down and clean from shell. Carefully separate yolks from egg whites. Ground yolks on a grater and add in a salad to the rest of the ingredients.
  • 4. Dress salad with a small amount of the mayonnaise. Add garlic cloves passed through a press, salt and black ground pepper to taste.
  • 5. Mix the salad thoroughly so that all the ingredients are connected.
  • 6. Let's fill the waffle tartlets with ready-made salad.
  • 7. Ground the egg whites on a small grater. Shift the ground egg whites on the tartlets forming a small hill.
  • 8. Cut fresh cucumber into thin circles. Stick cucumber circles into tartlets making the mice’s ears. From the peas of allspices let’s make the eyes and from clove buds let’s make the noses.
  • 9. Shift the ready tartlets on a dish with cheese slices and decorate the snack with fresh greenery.
