A recipe for Crispy Country Fried Steak Roll:
Ingredients:
- 4 thinly sliced beef steaks
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a shallow dish, combine the flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Dredge each steak in the seasoned flour, shaking off any excess.
- Dip each steak into the beaten eggs, then coat with panko breadcrumbs.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the steaks to the skillet and cook until golden brown on all sides, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Transfer the steaks to a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes, until cooked through.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before slicing into 1-inch thick rolls.
- Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce and enjoy!
Note: You can also add some shredded cheese or sautéed onions to the filling before rolling up the steaks for added flavor.
