The Bartender Old Fashioned riff by Robert Simonson
INGREDIENTS:
- 60mL Bourbon Whiskey
- 7.5mL Fernet Branca
- 2 Dashes of Angostura Bitters
- Sugar Cube
- Twist of Lemon
METHOD
1. Add the sugar cube to your double old fashioned glass
2. Soak the sugar cube with two dashes of bitters
3. Gently muddle the sugar into a paste (adding a barspoon of water is optional)
4. Add the bourbon whiskey and Fernet Branca
5. Fill glass with ice and stir for approx. 30 seconds
6. Garnish with a twist of lemon
