Ingredients

  • 1 cup yellow corn meal
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 3 Tablespoon melted butter
  • 1-1/4 cup butter milk
  • 1 large egg room temp
  • 1/3 cup white sugar
  • pinch salt or teaspoon salt
  • 5 Tablespoon melted butter for the pan
  • 8 or 9 inch cast iron skillet

cook 400 degrees 18 to 20 minutes
