Classic Waldorf Salad

Crunchy apples and celery, juicy grapes, and rich walnuts come together to form this classic Waldorf salad. It’s comforting, easy to make, and oh-so refreshing – no wonder it’s been such a popular salad for over 100 years!

Ingredients

• 2 cups granny smith apples diced, about 2 apples
• 1 tablespoon lemon juice
• 1/4 cup granulated sugar
• 1 cup red grapes halved
• 1 cup celery diced
• 1/2 cup walnuts chopped and toasted
• 1/2 cup greek yogurt
• 1/4 cup mayonnaise
• 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Dice apples into bite size pieces, about 1/2" cubes. Place in a large bowl, drizzle lemon juice, and sprinkle sugar over the apples. Toss to make sure all is coated.
  2. Halve grapes and add to the apples. Dice celery and add to the bowl along with walnuts.
  3. In a small mixing bowl add greek yogurt, mayonnaise, and salt. Mix until well combined.
  4. Pour the sauce over chopped ingredients and toss to coat thoroughly.
