Cooking Traditional Mauritian Street Food Dishes | MasterChef UK | MasterChef World
This challenge takes place in the town of Mahebourg, one of the island’s earliest established fishing ports. Split into teams of two, each pair will be tasked with cooking two traditional Mauritian street food dishes for 15 local fishermen. To help the finalists make sense of this unique multicultural fusion cuisine, they are mentored by chef Moroogun Coopen, president of the Mauritius Chefs Association and one of the island’s best known cooks.
