Plums Melted Butter Cake

Ingredients

18cm tart pan

  • 5-6 Japanese plums 
  • 1 Egg(50g) (room temperature)
  • 60g Light brown sugar
  • 40g Melted butter
  • 100g Cake flour
  • 40g Almond flour
  • 3g Baking powder

Directions

Preparation:

Grease tart pan with butter.
Wash the plums.
Preheat the oven to 356 °F/180℃.
①Cut plums into 0.4in thick slices.
②Crack an egg into a bowl.
Add sugar and mix well.
③Add the melted butter little by little and mix well.
④Add the sifted flour,almond flour, baking powder and mix.
⑤Pour the mixture into the tin and flatten the dough.
⑥Arrange the plums on top.
⑦Bake for 338 °F/170℃ 30min.
⑧Cool completely on wire rack.

*The flavor of this cake won't have settled yet when they are fresh out of the oven, so be sure to let them rest for half a day or more before enjoying them.
