Seafood Gumbo
Gumbo is one dish that makes Louisiana cuisine so famous. This may not be the traditional gumbo recipe that features okra, shrimp, spicy seasonings and what is called the holy trinity—onions, green peppers and celery. Ingredients
- 1 cup finely chopped red bell peppers
- 1 cup finely chopped celery
- 1 cup finely chopped onion
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 14 ounce fire roasted tomatoes
- 2 snow crab clusters
- 1 Cajun and creole andouille sausage
- 1/2 pound shrimp
- 1/2 tablespoon creole seasoning
- 1/2 tablespoon slap your mama Cajun seasoning
- 1/2 tablespoon paprika
- 1/2 tablespoon oregano
- 1/2 tablespoon chicken bouillon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon thyme
- 4 cups chicken broth
