Delicious Skirt Steak Tacos
Skirt steak tacos are a delicious and flavorful meal that's perfect for a casual dinner or for entertaining guests. Here's a recipe to try:
Ingredients:
- 1 lb skirt steak
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 small white onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 8-10 small corn tortillas
- Toppings: sliced avocado, crumbled cotija cheese, diced tomatoes, lime wedges
Instructions:
1. Preheat a grill or grill pan to high heat.
2. Season the skirt steak generously with salt and pepper.
3. Grill the steak for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until it reaches your desired level of doneness.
4. Let the steak rest for 5 minutes before slicing it thinly against the grain.
5. In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.
