Dal Tadka and Jeera Rice is comfort food for many but making a perfect Dal Tadka is an art. So in this video I am going to share my personal recipe which I follow.

INGREDIENTS

  • 3/4 cup Toor Dal
  • 1/4 cup Moong Dal
  • 2-3 tsp Chana Dal
  • 2 cups of Water
  • Salt
  • Turmeric Powder
  • Bay Leaves
  • 1 stick Cinnamon
  • 2-3 Cloves
  • 1 tsp Clarified Butter
  • 1 Chopped Tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp Clarified Butter
  • Oil
  • 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
  • Asafoetida

Dried Red Chilis

  • 1 tbsp Finely Chopped Ginger
  • 1 tbsp Finely Chopped Garlic
  • Finely Chopped Green Chilis
  • 1 Finely Chopped Onion
  • 1 Chopped Tomatoes
  • Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Red Chili Powder
  • 1 tsp Coriander Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Garam Masala
  • 1 tbsp Clarified Butter
  • 1 tbsp Finely Chopped Garlic
  • Cumin Seeds
  • Dried Red Chilis
  • Red Chili Powder
  • Charcoal
  • 2 tbsp Clarified Butter
  • Cumin Seeds
  • Boiled Basmati Rice
  • Salt
  • Fresh Coriander
