The Crunchwrap Casserole is a delicious take on the popular Taco Bell Crunchwrap Supreme.

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound ground beef (or substitute with ground turkey or chicken)
  • 1 packet taco seasoning mix
  • 1 can (15 ounces) refried beans
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded Mexican blend cheese
  • 6 large flour tortillas
  • 2 cups shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup diced onion
  • Sliced jalapeños (optional)
  • Sliced black olives (optional)
  • Salsa, guacamole, or other desired toppings

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare the beef: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until it's browned. Drain excess fat and add the taco seasoning according to the packet instructions.
  3. Assemble the casserole:
    • Place a layer of tortillas at the bottom of a baking dish, ensuring that they cover the entire base.
    • Spread half of the refried beans evenly over the tortillas.
    • Add a layer of cooked ground beef on top of the beans.
    • Spread half of the sour cream over the beef.
    • Sprinkle half of the shredded cheese over the sour cream layer.
    • Add half of the lettuce, tomatoes, onions, jalapeños, and any other desired toppings.
  4. Repeat the layers: Repeat the layering process using the remaining ingredients.
  5. Bake the casserole: Cover the casserole dish with foil and place it in the preheated oven. Bake for about 25-30 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the casserole is heated through.
  6. Serve: Once baked, remove the casserole from the oven. Let it cool for a few minutes. Slice and serve with additional toppings like salsa, guacamole, or any preferred condiments.

This Crunchwrap Casserole is a versatile dish, so feel free to adjust the ingredients according to your taste preferences. You can also add or remove layers based on what you prefer or have available. Enjoy your delicious casserole!
