The Ultimate Mirabelle Pie
The golden, flavorful mirabelle plum is the star of summer. Among the best table plum, mirabelles shine in pies, preserves and liqueurs. In this pie configuration, and contrary to my previous stone pie recipes, the fruits on top are served raw. Indeed, the plum halves laid over the cooked mirabelle marmalade, and the almond cream base crust.
