Soft bread in a skillet
Ingredients
- 5White Bread Rolls(5.9in skillet)
- 100g Bread flour
- 8g Sugar
- 1.5g Salt
- 1.5g Dry yeast
- 65g Water
- 8g Unsalted butter(room temperature)
Directions
①Combine the dry ingredients ()and mix.
②Make a dent in the center and add dry yeast to the dent.
③Pour Water(lukewarm water)over the dry yeast.
The best water temperature for the dough: About 15℃-20℃ for spring and autumn. About 10℃ for summer, and about 25℃-30℃ for winter.
④Mix roughly. Put onto a work surface.
⑤Knead. (15mins)
⑥Add butter and knead more. (5mins)
⑦Divide the dough into 5. Make it round.
⑧Warm skillet over high heat for 8 seconds.
Arrange bread in skillet.
Cover with another skillet.
⑨wait until it doubles in size.
⑩Warm skillet over high heat for 8 seconds.
Reduce heat to lowest heat.
Cook until both sides are nicely browned.
