Fried ham fritters


  • 12 slices of ham
  • 12 cubes of mozzarella
  • Breadcrumbs
  • 200ml (¾ cup+1 tbsp) water
  • 1 egg
  • 3g (1 tsp) baking powder
  • 120g (⅔ cup) all-purpose flour
  • A pinch of salt
  • Oil for frying


1. Wrap cheese into ham and secure with toothpicks.

2. In a medium bowl whisk flour with salt and baking powder, add egg and water, then whisk until smooth.

3. Dip each ham bite into the batter and cover in breadcrumbs.

4. Fry ham fritters for around 5 minutes in a large amount of preheated oil.
