Garlic and sage roasted potatoes
Perfectly crisp and beautifully golden, these potatoes are the perfect side dish!
INGREDIENTS
- 10 potatoes
- Salt
- Extra virgin olive oil
- 55g (1/4 cup) of Butter
- Garlic
- Sage
METHOD
1. Cut the potatoes in half and transfer them to the pot with the water. Season with salt, and when the water boils, let it boil for 15 minutes, then remove it from the heat.
2. Pour the olive oil into the pan and transfer to the oven for 10 minutes to heat up the oil.
3. Pour the potatoes into the pan with hot oil and cover each potato with the oil. Transfer to the oven and bake at 190°C/392°F for 20 minutes.
4. In a pan add the butter, garlic, and chopped sage. Fry for a few minutes and then remove from the heat.
5. Pour the butter mixture into the potatoes in the pan and add the few sage leaves. Transfer to the oven and bake at 190°C/392°F for 10 more minutes until they are golden brown.
