For Puran:
- Chana dal -1 cup
- Jaggery (gud)- 3/4 cup
- Cooking oil - 1 tsp
- Cardamom powder -1/2 tsp
- Nutmeg powder -1/2 tsp (optional)
For Aamti:
- Boiled dal stock or normal water
- Dry coconut -1/4 cup
- Onion -2
- Coriander leaves -1/3 cup
- Ginger - 2 inch
- Garlic cloves -10
- Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
- Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
- Bay leave - 1
- Turmeric whole - 1 (small)
- Star anise -1
- Mace - 1/2
- Cinnamon stick -1/2 inch
- Coriander seeds - 1 tbsp
- Fenugreek seeds -1/2 tsp
- Chana Dal - 1 tbsp
- Curry leaves as per your taste
- Turmeric powder -1/2 tsp
- Red chilli powder -2 tsp
- Coriander leaves
- Cooking oil - 4 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Aloo bhaji:
- Boiled potatoes - 4
- Mustard seeds -
- Green chilli - 2
- Garlic chopped - 1 tsp
- Turmerics powder -1/2 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Cooking oil - 3 tbsp
- Coriander leaves - 4 tbsp
