Featuring my go-to-all butter, perfectly flaky, easy to make pie crust from scratch, and learn how to make a flawless flan/quiche shell like a pro.

Pie Dough Recipe

For two 9-inch/23cm cake rings.

  • 500g all-purpose flour
  • 8g salt
  • 250g butter, cubed and cold
  • 100g eggs, cold
  • 40g ice water
  • 2g vanilla powder (optional).

Mix dry ingredients. Rub butter with flour. Add eggs and water, and mix until just combined. Split in half, wrap and chill a couple of hours.
